So, it's the day before Easter Sunday. We are having a big turkey with all the fixings tomorrow and Tim's parents, brother and his gf and the kids are coming for dinner. It should be fun and hopefully goes well.
Dylan and Stephanie had their final playoff games today. Dylan and Steph's Peewee team, the Lightning, beat the Devils (1st place team) 4-3 but lost in the extra period to determine the winner due to the Devils beating us last Saturday. The kids were very happy though because they haven't been able to beat the Devils all year and they finally did. Dylan's Bantam team played right after and they were up 2-0 on the Rangers but the Rangers came back near the end and tied it up and then they won it in the overtime. It was too bad but the kids played a heck of a game and should be proud of themselves, since every team had to bring in ringers (extra players) every game through the season in order to beat us.
Kyle has the 2 bottom front teeth now. The first one came through on Monday, April 6th and the 2nd one came through the next day (Tuesday, April 7th). I hope that they grow out more soon and then he will start sleeping better soon. Plus, he seems to be getting the sniffles and I so hope that he's not getting a spring cold.
Tim is working nightshift all Easter weekend. He tried to get tomorrow night off, but they wouldn't let him because they are short staffed. Oh well, we will just have to make do with him getting some sleep in the morning tomorrow, get up for dinner with the family and go back for a nap in the evening.
